MONITORING AND EVALUATION ASSISTANT

Job Purpose: 

SIHHAT Project is mainly operating healthcare services for migrants in 32 provinces around Türkiye. The main purpose of this role is to provide the administrative support to the department in line with the project requirements. The role holder is expected to complete required tasks on a timely manner and perform administrative duties according to the instructions of the project experts / deputy directors and ensure smooth communication between all relevant parties.

Contract:

Consultancy Service Procurement Agreement - Fixed Term

(The appointed candidate must not be officially contracted as the civil servant to sign the contract.)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of project evaluation and/or review reports and drafts regular M&E project report
  • Drafting of quarterly, monthly, annual reports and other reports as required by the EU reporting guidelines.
  • Ensure that project data are collected, entered and updated on a timely basis.
  • Collects the data provided by stakeholders, consolidate them and report in proper formats. 
  • Support to project staff in identification, documentation, drafting of best practices and lessons learned
  • Participation in results-oriented monitoring and evaluation training efforts in the PMU
  • Drafts the minutes of weekly, monthly and other project related meetings
  • Takes part in contribution to the day-to-day project implementation according to the department needs   
  • Provides timely and accurate administrative support in the project activities
  • Assumes the overall responsibility for administrative matters of a more general nature, such as registry and maintenance of project files and records;
  • Works cooperatively with the relevant Experts in the Project Management Team in the execution and monitoring of project tasks.
  • Performs other duties required by the Administration/department expert when needed

Required Skills and Competencies:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of general professional experience in international projects / inst. / company (including EU-funded program) in admistration. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), data processing or other project related areas

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of M&E methodologies and tools 
  • Experience in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis 

Language Skills

  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) 

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to manage databases and reporting systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or a related field 
  • Experience in migration, social cohesion, or development projects 
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Master's Degree
  • For male candidates: military service must be completed or exempt
  • Relevant work experience within public institutions
