Director of Migration Health Muhammed Zahid KAYA Visits Migrant Health Centers in Konya
Director of Migration Health Muhammed Zahid KAYA, accompanied by his delegation, visited the Migrant Health Centers (GSM) in Konya on January 15, 2026. The visits were conducted to evaluate the operation of the centers and the health services provided on site. KAYA also inspected the ongoing construction work at the GSM under the SHIFA project.
As part of the visit program, Dr. Saliha ACAR, Deputy Head of Konya Public Health Services, Dr. Fatih ATAŞ, Konya Provincial Migration Officer, and their delegation accompanied President KAYA. The visit to the Konya Selçuklu Enhanced Migrant Health Center (GGSM) was carried out with the participation of Dr. Hasan ÇİFTÇİ, Head of Konya Public Health Services.
During the visits, the manner in which migrant health services are carried out in the field, the difficulties encountered, and current needs were discussed. Meeting with center staff, the officials made assessments aimed at increasing the effectiveness of preventive and curative health services.
