Supporting Migrant Health Services in Türkiye (IPA-III/2023/433-160)

The ministry delegation, led by Director General of Migration Health Muhammed Zahid Kaya, visited Mardin as part of its field visits following Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa. The delegation inspected four Migrant Health Centers (GSM) serving across the province and evaluated their work on site.
 
As part of the visit program, the delegation inspected the Artuklu Bab-ı Şifa GSM, Kızıltepe GSM, Midyat GSM, and Nusaybin GSM. Department Head Muhammed Zahid Kaya and accompanying officials received information from center managers and staff about the centers' operations, the quality of preventive and curative health services provided, the effectiveness of field work, and current needs encountered.
 
The delegation emphasized that Migrant Health Centers play a critical role in strengthening public health and stated that coordination and support processes will continue uninterrupted.
