Migrant Health Centers Kick Off December with Women's Rights Presentations and Health Education
Migrant Health Centers continued their preventive health services, in-service training, and community awareness activities last week. During the week that included December 5, International Women's Rights Day, training on women's health and rights took center stage.
An in-service training session titled “Prenatal Counseling and Postnatal Care Methods” was organized for healthcare personnel at the
Kayseri Danişmentgazi Migrant Health Center. The training covered primary healthcare and counseling services provided throughout the process from pregnancy to the end of the postpartum period in detail.
In the
Kocasinan district of Kayseri, a presentation on “Women's Rights” was held especially for December 5, International Women's Rights Day. The presentation provided participants with comprehensive information on civil rights, economic rights, access to health services, and protection from violence.
In the Odunpazarı district of
Eskişehir, the Migrant Health Center teams continued their educational programs in schools.
In
Kahramanmaraş, the Psychosocial Support (PSD) teams and Mobile Health teams working within the Migrant Health Centers continued to provide education and health services in the field without interruption.
